Están las más grandes, más famosas, y están las otras, mas pequeñas, no tan conocidas para el público en general. Sant'Eligio es una de estas últimas. Es una bellísima iglesia con una fachada en estilo barroco muy bonita. Hay que detenerse en la piazza Sant'Eligio para deleitarse observando sus muchos detalles.
Among the many churches in the city of Matera, it is difficult to choose one in particular. They all have their charm. There are the largest, most famous, and there are the others, smaller, not so well known to the general public. Sant'Eligio is one of the latter. It is a beautiful church with a very beautiful baroque facade. You have to stop at piazza Sant'Eligio to enjoy observing its many details.
