★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you can't go to Saturnia, this is the best next thing and it's free! Park on the side of the road and enjoy the hot thermal water. Rocks separate the different water temperatures so there's hot and cool areas.Take the rocks from the bottom, rub them together and make a paste for a natural face and body mask.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an amazing free natural resource that should be nurtured. Tourists visit Italy for such places! Unfortunately, there are no rubbish bins and visitors simply leave their rubbish behind (where is the civic spirit nowadays?)... The pipe carrying the thermal water is utterly unsightly. Would be beneficial if the comune could intervene and improve the aesthetics.
Nevertheless, the spring waters gush out at 43 degrees C and the experience is warming (to say the least)!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful, unique spot! A few meters right of the official thermal bath is a a little forest that gives public access to the river with its hot thermal water! Do take your water shoes and come after 19:00 to enjoy the place without crowds!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful termas in nature. The best way to relax in warm water even in winter. Getting down (and up) the slope might be a bit hard when it is wet and muddy but most of the people comes there wearing bathrobes and pool slippers when they get out of the car, which you have to leave a few or a dozen meters away in the parking lot or street. Water smell you can feal even you didn't left your car yet and it stays on you after the bath. Consider if you want to keep it on your hair as it is hard to wash it out. On the rigt side of the building there is a nudist zone.
