★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little place is wonderful. We spoke no Italian, they, no English, but it didn't matter. Google translate to the rescue!
But the food is great, the service is super friendly, and you genuinely feel like you've stumbled across some real Tuscan life. Pari is a beautiful, sleepy little place, but if you're in the area, this place (now renamed "Sandra e Barbara") is well worth checking out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ended up eating here three times while staying at Petriolo, it was absolutely perfect. There is at least one wonderful Canadian waitress who speaks English and does a fantastic job in general. The food is absolutely amazing and cheap, and the whole village is so picturesque and Italian it's almost not believable. I promise you will not regret going here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We felt like we stumbled on the best secret near the Petriolo hot sidings. Drove up to this tiny medieval stone town high up overlooking the valley in April and enjoyed a lovely meal with a welcoming lovely ex pat Canadian to translate the menu. We felt so welcome and enjoyed our experience immensely. Husband loved the venison and wild boar dishes he ordered. The chocolate cake was perfect. Thanks for the wonderful meal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious home cooked Tuscan food with a warm and friendly 5* service. On holiday with my fiance and we were made to feel welcome, even with our very basic Italian. An Italian local kindly helped with translation. The owner helped us choose dessert which was fantastic. Homemade creme brulee flaming as it arrived at the table. Returning on our last night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have stayed 8 days in Tuscany and had some great gastronomic experiences every day, but this was far the best of all. Pari is a cute little village with nice people and this restaurant is just as simple as it has to be. The workers are really kind and the food is just fantastic. You must try Pappardelle al ragú di cinghiale there, because it's perfect.
