Il est une alternative, ô combien nécessaire, à la « mainstreamisation » à laquelle nous sucombons. Comme ses œuvres, Spazio Rivoluzione est politique, contestataire, anticonformiste : les œuvres exposés, les artistes présentés provoquent; ils sont un cri pour nous sortir de la torpeur. Dans cet espace exigu, qui oblige à la précision, l’artiste/commissaire Adalberto Abbate organise des expositions rigoureuses, méticuleuses. Comme pour mieux échapper au cynisme du système marchand, Spazio Rivoluzione se cache au fond d’une cour d’immeuble sis la bien nommée Piazza Rivoluzione. Qu’à cela ne tienne! Courez-y, empressez-vous, ne manquez pas ses expositions. Original idea by artist Adalberto Abbate, Spazio Rivoluzione is more than just an art space. It is a much-needed alternative to the "mainstream" we are succumbing to. Like his works, Spazio Rivoluzione is political, protestant, non-conformist: the works on display, the artists presented provoke; they are a cry to get us out of torpor. In this cramped space, which requires precision, artist / curator Adalberto Abbate organizes rigorous, meticulous exhibitions. Andate se potete! I love Space Revolution! There I saw beautiful exhibitions of great international artists, curated by Adalberto Abbate, eclectic artist and curator. The contrast between the place, rich in history and anecdotes (Adalberto will be happy to tell you about them), and the contemporary works of the artists it hosts, creates a storm of emotions for a true 'revolutionary' cultural experience. "Space Revolution", in the heart of the historic center of Palermo, is an incredible reality. An independent gallery dedicated to contemporary art, promoter of denunciation and political and / or social awareness, experimentation and research. Worth booking a viewing, as it supports independent artists and it shows politically charged and internationally acclaimed artwork difficult to see otherwise.
