It's a very well organized tour. If you are touring around via Garibaldi, just pass by the front door and ring. If available, they let you in immediately. Otherwise, respecting the anti-Covid measures, if the tour is full, they'll let you know to pass by in 10-15 minutes and book you for the next tour. In the meantime, a good coffee (of which Sicily is king) is due ;). The guide will give a quick tour around the house, explaining the history and origin of the maioliche and will later leave 20 minutes for the guest to roam the rooms freely. A very unique museum, with the artwork very smartly and well dislayed and simply stunning. A must for anyone interested in the artistic history of the region, designers and graphic artists the world over. Absolutely beautiful, I highly recommend visiting.

Great museum if you are interested in mosaics, very unusual set up: the owner of the collection is actually still leaving there. We had our tour in english, guided tour lasts about 20 mn then you have 20 mn to walk around to appreciate the artwork. Cost is 9 EUR, we pre booked by email. You can pay by card or cash. As previously mentioned in other posts, you need to ring the top left bell to access it, it s on the second floor of the building.

A must if you love tiles. Hard to find. Look for a small brown wooden door under the scaffold. Might need to ring an apartment buzzer near the door.

Amazing private collection of artisan tiles from Napoli & Sicily displayed in the owner’s home (hence the abbreviated opening hours). One of the coolest things I saw in Palermo. Recommend.

Delightful and unusual Museum. There are many rooms, and the tour is guided to give you an insight into the different styles. Very interesting indeed.

It’s a must see if you visit Palermo, a hidden gem in the city. Memorable collection of a broad variety of tiles and very knowledgeable guide (also in english!). Worth spending some time here, it feels like a completely different world in the best sense.

reservation is a must. You can call to make an appointment. the immense collection of tiles can be viewed in a Palazzo. Due to work on the facade of the building it is currently difficult to find the entrance... but what a revelation! after a thorough explanation you have time to admire all the rooms that are literally filled with the most beautiful majolicas at your own pace. put this on your To Do list.

I can not believe I never visited this place during earlier visits in Palermo. The tiles are beautiful, and the guided tour offers a lot of information. I never knew it was so much to learn about why and how people hundreds of years ago picked the patterns for their floors.
