Best place to eat in the ghetto!!! It was my third time there and only gets better. Waiters are adorable, they make everything easy you feel at home. The daily menu is just amazing! Homemade pasta, stews, good bread! Grazzie per la tua gentilezza, David, a la prossima volta!!!!

Why the place is good? -it’s one street behind the busy square so the only restaurant on the cozy quiet ⛲️ fountain corner -no snobbish attitude but at-home-local atmosphere -simple but well-covered local menus The fried artichoke and the pasta ? were both excellent. And the waitress was very friendly with a great English skill (I see the other reviews complaining the services but I guess there are several persons. The young lady who served me was very polite and patient. She’s the friendliest I met in Rome) The location is great. Recommended, really??❀️ ?Went back again. Great service, they recognized me instantly? Thank you The prosciuttos ?with melons ? were just amazing. And the steak ?was heavenly. No need to precise how you want it to be cooked, it was just perfect. No?salt no pepper needed, only the meat juice. I picked the vinegar-marinated grilled eggplant ? as a side. A wonderful combination. The juicy meat was well accompanied by the sour taste of vinegar. If you in a hurry you should say so in the beginning otherwise it’s on Roman time⏱, which helped me to detach myself from the reality??‍♂️. So I validate the place??‍♂️?It’s worthwhile visiting??????

We found this special little place several years ago, and were thrilled to find it once again, especially on Easter. They offered an Easter menu, and every item we tried was fantastic! If you go here, you have to get the Carciofi either the Roman fried version or cooked in oil..artichokes never tasted so good. It is a very small restaurant and we did have to wait a bit for a table, but so worth it!

Came to try the Jewish artichoke, as it was recommended, was very good. Also had a mozzarella and tomato salad with this. A busy restaurant, service was a bit slow but friendly. Would like to go back to try various other dishes on the menu.
