Was looking forward to this but the food was average, the non-alcoholic drinks advertised on the menu were unavailable, and the service was incredibly abrupt (verging on rude and unwelcoming). Felt we were inconveniencing them merely by being there.

Service was below average, also the food. Although the prices, above average. Their kosher version of carbonara is not satisfying.

CHAOS! Food is not worth the trouble. We waited to order for 50 minutes (even for drinks). There is zero coordination between service and kitchen. Appetizers came after the main course. Most of the dishes we asked for weren’t available and we were only warned long after ordering them. Bread arrived at the end of the meal... etc. ...

We were given a table reasonably efficiently. When we received our food, we found that one of them was cold, and two of the dishes we ordered we never received. It was a nice atmosphere and the other dishes were adequate but nothing special.

Excellent restaurant! Definitely try the fried artichokes (Roman Jewish way) and the pasta with zucchini, botargo and fish! Delicious

Had light dinner here with a friend who was visiting Italy last March. We tried the BaccalΓ  in tomato sauce, olives, and pine nuts, as well as the Carciofi alla Giudecca (artichoke the Jewish way) and Carciofi alla Romana (artichoke the Roman way). Our hands down favorite was the artichoke supposedly cooked the way a Jewish nonna would - fried, crispy, and tasty! We had to order another serving as it was so irresistible. The Roman artichoke dish, on the other hand, was like marinated in brine. It was ok but can’t hold a candle to the Jewish one. Unlike other places in Rome (and Italy for that matter) the restaurant doesn’t close in the afternoon. So we came early and finished our dinner before 7:30 when most people were just starting theirs. Friendly and prompt service. You do have to leave a tip.
