We were across the river and come apon this place. Very nice, the smell of food was so intoxicating. It took us 5 minutes to order, I ordered fresh Tuna tatters w/artichokes sauce ( fantastic ?). I also ordered a fried artichoke ( so good ). My friends were very satisfied with there meals as well. Glad we stopped here, we had a great time.?????

Fried Pumpkin flowers was delicious, small portion, just 2 pieces, we ordered 2 more portions but somehow they were sold out and we received 1,5 portion, and was a bit over fried ??‍♂️ We had fried anchovies, artichoke and fried mozzarella. All were tasty. I think artichoke is overrated or perhaps I didn’t get it. Lasagna was good. Lamb with baked potato is okay, it’s a bit labor intensive. Deserts were interesting, never had such a light cheesecake. It didn’t have that artificial sugar/sweetness and wasn’t heavy at all. ??

As a tourist from ?? the fried artichoke was nice. Carbonara didnt have much flavour at all but the beef stew a little better. I dont like how they dont offer tap water.

Excellent location for exploring the quarter. The food was delicious we had artichokes and fried zucchini leaves, Amerkiteta and artichoke lasagna. All 4 were good not remarkable but still a good meal for 68E . Many restaurants in the same area.

Not good. Tourist trap. Very small sauces. Pasta is not good ( had to return mine..) do not get thick pasta. Artichoke was just put into oil and full of it. High prices. Good, hardworking staff though. After I returned the Pasta and ordered one instead , it was ok. Forgot to mention - When you ask for tap water they say that they do not have. Only bottled. We ordered the water and it came in semi dirty vessel that they clearly filled up from the tap. Lol.

This place was authentic and amazing! We were recommended the fried artichoke and we were certainly glad we came here to eat it. I have never tried it before this and it was delicious; perfect consistently between the artichoke heart texture and a crispy outside from being fried. We the had the meatballs and a pasta dish. Both were so good but the meatballs were the best I’ve ever had. They were such a tasty cut of meat molded into a meatball that fell apart into the bath of amazing sauce. I could have ate this sauce on everything! We enjoyed several drinks at this restaurant and left full and tipsy.

This place is as authentic as you can get!! We visited during peak Artichoke season so we got to taste them in their full freshness. There were tables of them sitting outside so we knew they would be good. The house wine was some of the best we had in all of Italy. The care and craft that is put into this food makes me long to visit again really soon.
