β β β β β The service was slow. The carciofi was okay, not among the best weβve had in Rome. The main course which was the lamb chops was not the best.

β β β β β Great great kosher food in the ghetto ebraico, right in the city center! We had an amazing time! The antipasti were delicious, starting from the hummus and falafel plate to the carciofi alla giudia, tortino di aliciotti e fritto misto!
For the main dish, I ordered the abbacchio and I was incredibly surprised how good and tender it was!
Iβll definitely come back again ?

β β β β β A short stop to refuel at BaGhetto. We shared Roman & Jewish style artichokes as well as meatballs in red sauce. Food was good, not mind blowing but lovely atmosphere and friendly staff!

β β β β β Excellent Restaurant in the Jewish Ghetto. Our server was very friendly and gave us great service. Started with Jewish artichokes which were very good, even for November. I had the gnocchi with beef. Best meal I had my entire week in Rome. Wine was excellent as well. Wife had the lamb which was cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully and a side of grilled vegetables. For dolci we had grandpa's cake and the chocolate mousse. Topped it off with complimentary mint tea. So good!

β β β β β Went here, because of a friend recommendation... Overall, it was good.
The service: lacked quite a bit, we were greeted and then forgotten for 15 min. Then finally a server came to us, who looked like was managing the whole place. Kudos to her!
Also, noticed that we weren't the only ones waiting for a server. Good bit of the table were.
The food: Meatballs were just fantastic, as well as the wine! The hummus with beef and zucchini flower could use just a hint more seasoning. The oven roasted lamb was very good.
Hope I can go to this place again and have a little different experience.

β β β β β They will bring a bag of bread to the table even if you didn't ask for it and then charge you for it (1.50 Euros per person). It's very sneaky and I did not appreciate it. Beyond that the food is extremely salty and not flavorful. For the price it's a complete miss. Service is fine and bathrooms available. Overall, skip this place.

β β β β β This was a good place in the heart of the Jewish Ghetto in Rome. My wife had the artichoke as a first course and really enjoyed it. I had the spaghetti bolognese as a first course and kebab for the second. The pasta portions are small and therefore perfect as a first course. Our service was really friendly which contributed to the experience. Highly recommended except for one caveat that Iβll save for the end.
We look forward to trying the dairy sister restaurant tomorrow.
One thing that I did NOT appreciate is that they bring you a bag of bread that you didnβt ask for and then charge you 1.50 euros per person for it. Just not niceβ¦
