Excellent choice for cold cuts and cheeses (burrata with truffle pearls is a must), great traditional pasta dishes too.
Pricier than others, but you are guaranteed to get top quality here

β β β β β SO DISAPPOINTING! we have booked in advance, waiting for this dinner that should have been one of the best during our Rome stay. BUT, as big as our expectations, is our disappointment. Our table was small, very close to others, so we felt like a big family dinner...(and our table was one of the best..). After a deep reading of the 19 (!) menu pages, and advising with our apathetic waiter, we took two 1st courses, 2 main, battle of the house wine and dessert. The food was low to mediocre quality, and OVER PRICED for this level of food, service & ambiance. DON'T FALL INTO THIS (SMART) TOURIST'S TRAP!

β β β β β Walking the streets of Rome, we noticed a long line to this place. Tempted by the great interest, we decided to try the pizza in slices, which was good. In addition to pizza, a very large selection of cheese, meats and pasta. Italian atmosphere and good food. The prices are a bit higher, but I recommend you try it.

β β β β β JUST GO! There I tasted the best carbonara ever. Please look at the color of the Spaghetti in the picture! Just so yummy. Note: I hardly recommend booking beforehand, Rome is currently full of tourists and there are long waits everywhere, but really, Roscioli Salimeria is worth it!

β β β β β Reservations are necessary but worth it. Waiters were super nice. Their house wines were really great. We tried oysters, calamari with nuts, fried zucchini flowers with oxtail filling and pasta with broccoli, raw shrimps and black garlic.

The food is divine the best I had in my life.
The components are so fresh and in such high quality.
Very recommended !!!!!!!
We like the most the mozzarella and the tuna fish,
and the tiramisu.

β β β β β You must have a reservation, it seems, to get into this interesting hot spot. We were able to get a 7 pm seating on a Friday evening, and we had a lovely meal in a unique setting. Tables are quite close together, so donβt bring a large bag or coat (if not necessary) as it could feel a bit cramped. But the hubbub around the table also added to the ambiance. People were coming in and out to order food from the counter (like sliced ham or cheese or wine to go), while we ate. It was pretty cool! While everything was good, the burrata with tomatoes was phenomenal. I would go back just for that alone! Delicious!

β β β β β In a world filled with pasta and meat, this spot offers unique flavors and a vastly superior wine selection. While it may be a small venue, it boasts flavors that we have not come across yet. The food was fresh, flavorful, and unique. The staff was kind and attentive, and the venue very eclectic. Definitely book a reservation as there are not many tables.
