★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have to say this was one of our favorite meals on our most recent trip to Rome - the food was our least favorite part of the meal, and the food was very very good. But the ambiance, social energy and general coziness of a dinner here is joyful. The female ownership comes through with warmth and attention to detail and you are made to feel at home from the minute you step inside. Again, the food is very very good so that makes the wholistic experience of this restaurant to be very top notch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Turned us away because we vaccinated over 6 months ago although we are fully vaccinated in the United States. We explained we have had no issues in all of the restaurants we have visited, including the only Michelin star restaurant in Rome but they didn’t care even though we offered to show our PCR Covid negative test from two days ago… ZERO stars…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked by phone and offered the garden seating. Wasn't sure what to expect but absolutely beautiful setting with lights plants and heaters. Absolutely stunning. Lovely staff and a simple menu. Complimentary focaccia with olive oil with salt and rosemary to nibble on, delicious. Il mare linguine main dishes and blown away with the flavours. Another portion of focaccia to accompany even better than the first. Finished with tiramisu so creamy and tasty. This is a fabulous restaurant with amazing food and service, so glad we chose here for our meal tonight. Grazzi ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While on a walk in the area, we came across this place not knowing what they were serving. There was a spot open and we happily went in. The dishes were exceptional. Our waiter was very friendly and relaxed, which we really appreciated. He really elevated our experience, as all around us was really busy, it was like being in our own bubble.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly one of the best restaurants in Rome. Without a doubt the best pasta! I’ve been disappointed many times dining in Rome but so glad I made it to Pianostrada.
I dined at the bar and was able to interact and observe the chefs. They were warm and welcoming. A real treat!
I started with crispy artichoke with creamy pecorino cheese with vinegar reduction- crunchy and delicious. Then, scottana beef tartare - very tender. Then, the pasta… so good. Tagliardella with ragú.l with guinea fowl, rabbit, mushroom, olives and Parmesan cheese. Truly Amazon! Thanks Chiara!
