★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great experience! Mirko spent his time giving us a tour of the whole of ortigia and let us swim in the clear calm blue waters. It was wonderful. The boat is beautiful and so huge you can easily keep your 1.5m distance if you wish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose this boat tour after looking at its very good reviews here on Google maps. Unfortunately, our experience wasn't that great. First of all, the "captain" didn't speak English and during the tour he only pointed with his finger to some tour attractions, saying the names in Italian. He was quite polite though. We were expecting some stories or at least any details about the places we visited. Ortigia has a lot of stories! Then, instead promised 1 hour tour, we only had 45 minutes, while paying the full price. Third, I am not sure whether it is supposed to make a full circle around Ortigia, we reached the Castello Maniace and went back. The captain argued in Italian that there are some stones in the water and we can't get further. At least some other tours on the island were offering a full round at the same price. The good thing was that there were just two of us and the captain. But it was awkward to silently sail around Ortigia. Apart from that, the caves were amazing and the view from the boat was awesome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mirko's principle is "I serve customers as I would like to be served myself". And that should be enough for a review. We spent over 1.5 hours on the boat. We sailed around Ortigia and saw the caves around Syracuse. The captain talks interestingly about the history and monuments, but also about the present of his city. During the cruise there were two surprises waiting for us :). I highly recommend. I do not attach photos - just try and make your own :).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice boat tour around Ortigia, including the caves and a moment to take a swim. However, we went with the older captain and it should be noted that he doesn't speak any English. Had a lot of laughs because he is quite the character but if I had known this beforehand I would have booked a different tour.
