★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L’osteria nasce da una lunga esperienza familiare, che ha origine oltre cinquant’anni fa, con l’apertura di una bottega di alimentari in un piccolo e antico borgo del Chianti, alla quale poi si affianca una crescente proposta enogastronomica ristorativa, che successivamente viene trasferita qui, nel centro storico di Siena. Nel coniugare la passione e l’amore per il cibo con un'attenta ricerca delle produzioni d’eccellenza locali, oggi il piccolo locale è l’ideale per una sosta di lavoro, di studio o per chi visita occasionalmente la Città. Nella nostra pausa pranzo abbiamo gustato Crostini toscani, Bruschette al pomodoro e Ribollita, con un calice di ottimo vino.
 The tavern was born from a long family experience, which originated over fifty years ago, with the opening of a food shop in a small and ancient village of Chianti, which is then joined by a growing food and wine restaurant proposal, which subsequently is moved here, in the historic center of Siena. In combining passion and love for food with a careful search for local products of excellence, today the small restaurant is ideal for a stop for work, study or for those who occasionally visit the city. During our lunch break we tasted Tuscan Crostini, Bruschette with tomato and Ribollita, with a glass of excellent wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gustosi piatti della tradizione toscana in un locale piccolo ma grazioso. Abbiamo preso ribollita, pici cacio e pepe, trippa alla senese e tacchino arrosto con patate. Non volevamo riempirci di antipasti, ma a giudicare dall'aspetto (e dai commenti.dei commensali vicini) anche i crostini con lardo e gota devono essere stati eccezionali. Per finire, cantuccini e vin santo. Tutto buono e conto più che adeguato. Cortese e veloce anche il servizio. Torneremo!
Tasty traditional Tuscan dishes in a small but nice place. We had ribollita, pici with cheese and pepper, Siena-style tripe and roast turkey with potatoes. We didn't want to fill ourselves with appetizers, but judging by the appearance (and comments from neighboring diners) the lard and cheek croutons must have been outstanding too. Finally, cantuccini and vin santo. All good and more than adequate account. The service is also courteous and fast. We'll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food, loved the Ribolleto, Cacio e Pepe, Tripe, and Pepeso (beef stew, pepper, amazing and hearty!), and wine. Great flavor and texture.
We were not crazy for the Tagliatelle de Rosemary which needed a strong jaw, nor the Lasagna which needed no jaw at all (it was very soft almost fluffy)
