★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Salendo dalla piana del Magone ( Gigliola) verso il Poggio S. Elsa / Funivia invece di continuare per l’ampio sentiero che porta alla base della funivia è possibile prendere sulla sinistra un sentiero alternativo dopo la diramazione ( sulla destra per Cujaga/ sentiero 204 3V). Il sentiero 222A si dirama. Sulla destra porta ancora al Poggio S. Elsa, sulla sinistra porta al Poggio Vararo e alla cima del Sasso del Ferro.
Going up from the plain of Magone (Gigliola) towards the Poggio S. Elsa / Cableway instead of continuing along the wide path that leads to the base of the cableway, it is possible to take an alternative path on the left after the branch (on the right for Cujaga / path 204 3V ). Trail 222A branches off. On the right it again leads to Poggio S. Elsa, on the left it leads to Poggio Vararo and to the top of Sasso del Ferro.
