★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Sassale, punto panoramico, è situato a metà tra la cima del poggio S. Elsa, il pianoro di magone e piano Cujaga. Vista su Laveno e il lago. Può essere raggiunto da Casere ( Ristorante Gigliola) seguendo il sentiero 3V che continua a Cujaga e scende poi a Sciareda ( Cereda) e Cittiglio ( sentiero tagliafuoco) . Oppure da Laveno salendo Via Vararo fino alla frazione Brenna e prendendo il sentiero di Vallebrena dopo avere passato il torrente Riale, a sinistra e poi salendo a destra.
 The Sassale, scenic spot, is located halfway between the top of the hill St Elsa, the plateau and choked Cujaga plan. View of Laveno and the lake. It can be reached from Casere (Ristorante Gigliola) by following the path 3V which continues to Cujaga and then descends to Sciareda (Cereda) and Cittiglio (firebreak path). Or from Laveno going up Via Vararo to the hamlet of Brenna and taking the Vallebrena path after passing the Riale stream, to the left and then going up to the right.
