★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Sasso del Fungo o tavola di S. Caterina( altitudine 427 metri) è un masso erratico con la particolarità di essere costituto da due massi sovrapposti e quindi di assomigliare ad un fungo. Si trova sulla mulattiera Monteggia- Casere: salendo deviazione sulla sinistra con indicazione. Per ragioni di sicurezza è stata allargata la base rispetto allo originale come visibile nelle vecchie foto ma mantiene buona parte del suo fascino. È possibile arrivarci anche da località Cascine qualche metro prima della sbarra della mulattiera per Casere/ Vararo ( strada della Selvaccia o del Forchirolo).
 The Sasso del Fungo or table of S. Caterina (altitude 427 meters) is an erratic boulder with the particularity of being made up of two overlapping boulders and therefore of resembling a mushroom. It is located on the Monteggia-Casere mule track: going up the deviation on the left with indication. For safety reasons the base has been enlarged compared to the original as shown in the old photos but it retains much of its charm. It is also possible to get there from Cascine a few meters before the bar of the mule track to Casere / Vararo (Selvaccia or Forchirolo road).
