★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Monte Le Motte domina il lago maggiore e le isole borromee. Il colle era una volta interamente di proprietà della famiglia Bini, a parte qualche esiguo spazio aperto coltivato in tempo di guerra. Era ricoperto da Castagni, Frassini e Robinie. La parte finale della Via Belvedere ( strada privata) deriva dalla vendita di un ampio terreno alla famiglia Wejler ( tedeschi che vivevano a Milano). Chiamato anche il Pianùn.
 Mount Le Motte dominates Lake Maggiore and the Borromean islands. The hill was once entirely owned by the Bini family, apart from a few small open spaces cultivated in wartime. It was covered by Castagni, Frassini and Robinie. The final part of Via Belvedere (private road) derives from the sale of a large piece of land to the Wejler family (Germans who lived in Milan). Also called the Pianùn.
