★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dalla mulattiera per Vararo, immediatamente prima della frazione Brenna ( o Brena), una stradina campestre ingentilita da un basso tappeto erboso si inoltra seguendo il versante del monte per raggiungere la valle dove scorre il torrente Riale. Superato un ponticello la stradina confluisce in un piccolo sentiero che si inerpica lungo la montagna seguendo a breve distanza il corso d’ acqua. Il sentiero era anche detto strada del Lordeü. Resti di due fornaci una sulla via stessa, l’altra lungo il sentiero che porta al Sassale dalle bianche pareti rocciose di consistenza calcarea. La sorgente del Groppazzo posta a lato della via, ha da tempo immemorabile fornito l’acqua agli abitanti della frazione
From the mule track to Vararo, immediately before the hamlet of Brenna (or Brena), a country road softened by a low turf continues following the slope of the mountain to reach the valley where the Riale stream flows. After a small bridge, the road joins a small path that climbs up the mountain following the watercourse at a short distance. The path was also called the Lordeü road. Remains of two furnaces, one on the road itself, the other along the path that leads to Sassale with its white limestone rock walls. The source of the Groppazzo located on the side of the road has since time immemorial provided water to the inhabitants of the hamlet
