Arrivati un bellissimo panorama soprattutto di sera perché si vede tutto il panorama con le luci accese A very nice place to get there by motorbike but also by car. S	Savino Sav on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si parte da Laveno, dopo la funivia si imbocca prima Via Caprera e poi Via Vararo (che corrisponde in parte con il sentiero AV che porta a Casere) fino alla località di Brena. Pochi tornarti in salita e si giunge a Monteggia con ampie visuali sul golfo di Laveno, Monte Cristo e Intra. Si prosegue dritto per dritto sulla mulattiera per scollinare a Vararo o salire a Poggio S. Elsa/Sasso del Ferro. It starts from Laveno, after the cable car take first Via Caprera and then Via Vararo (which corresponds in part with the AV path that leads to Casere) up to the locality of Brena. A few back uphill and you reach Monteggia with sweeping views over the Gulf of Laveno, Monte Cristo and Intra. Continue straight on the mule track to cross the hills to Vararo or go up to Poggio S. Elsa / Sasso del Ferro.

Consigliato anche la mattina per fotografare al meglio l'arco alpino. One of the most beautiful views you can admire in laveno! Highly recommended at sunset for the splendid colors that follow one another as the minutes pass! Also recommended in the morning to better photograph the Alps.
