★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dalla Cima del Monte Sasso del Ferro proseguire e prendere il sentiero 222A per giungere a Poggio Vararo con splendida vista sulla valle sospesa di Vararo e Casere con Vista sui Pozzoni di Laveno e sul lago Maggiore nord . Il sentiero prosegue verso valle da dove si può risalire poi al Poggio S. Elsa e la funivia oppure giungere a Casere.
 From the top of Monte Sasso del Ferro continue and take path 222A to reach Poggio Vararo with a splendid view of the suspended valley of Vararo and Casere with a view of the Pozzoni di Laveno and Lake Maggiore north. The path continues towards the valley from where you can then go up to Poggio S. Elsa and the cable car or reach Casere.
