★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an amazing restaurant is you are looking for truly "real" local food in northern Italy. It is not on the main street, but the food, drink, view and friendly atmosphere is well worth seeking out this jewel! One tip: Come very hungry! I recommended having the chef make you his special of the day and have them prepare the entire meal from their suggestion. All the food is homemade. This is what we had and I highly recommend: tagliere di salumi, gnocchetti all 'ortica. spaghetti alla chitarra, rigatoni alla boscaiola, polenta ai 4 formaggi, cinghiale in umido, torta di mirtilli, homemade liquor nocino and laurino.
One of the rooms that you must see is the wine room were they make the local Grappa.
They also have a great miniature car museum dedicated to the rally of Varese car race. As to see the real race cars in the garage also!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warm atmosphere and very tasty local cuisine with an amazing view. Particularly appreciated the homemade pasta; the tagliatelle made from chestnut were superb. The service was fast and friendly and the prices were fair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding view on the lake, such a superb spot where to stop for a local culinary experience in small or large groups, or for a casual dining at aperitif time , the restaurant features two large dining rooms for indoor receptions and a massive terrasse with tables .
The menu offers a wide selection of traditional home made delicacies , from cold cuts to dessert,
We especially appreciated the savoir faire of the host who helped us selecting few different dishes to go with their best beers and wines.
It’s a dog and kids friendly place and very recommended even for a quick pit stop before or after an hiking around the area just for a refreshment drink :)
