We learned so much from her not just about all the delicious Brunellos from the area but the terroir and how vintners grow their grapes and harvest them all organically. She speaks with such passion and great knowledge of wines. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had an exceptional time. We thoroughly enjoyed being with her and we would highly recommend using her to take you through this lovely countryside and sample the best of wines they have to offer. We certainly will on our next trip here.

She leads you through the wonderful wine area of Montalcino. We visit three amazing small vineyards and had an amazing lunch with an amazing view as well. Alexandra brings her passion, love and knowledge for wine that has lead my wife and I are signed up to take level 1 WSET course. If you are in the area of Montalcino and want to explore the real outstanding growers of Brunello, then look no further then Alexandra at Select Tasting (Montalcino)!

My husband and I had looked into several different wine tours for our stay in Tuscany, and we immediately knew that Select Tasting was different than the rest. Alexandra sent us an amazingly detailed itinerary (where others have just a sentence or two) and was responsive with our last-minute needs. We enjoyed a full day private tour, where many others were half day group tours. We had some knowledge of wine going in, but learned so much more on our full day of visiting 3 very different wineries and a 4-course lunch with wine pairings. We enjoyed both Alexandra's company and expertise as well as meeting everyone from the wineries... Alexandra is clearly well-connected in the area and that makes for an exceptional experience versus a group tour. I would recommend this for again and again for anyone in the area! This is an opportunity you can't miss!
