Recommended for those who want to learn engraving in Italy. You can acquire not only basic skills but also various knowledge about engraving. Most teachers speak English, so you don't need to speak Italian.
The classes are very homey and you can learn in a cheerful Italian atmosphere. It is recommended!

Sarebbe piaciuta a Steve Jobs per il suo metodo da bottega rinascimentale, laboratorio dove fare concretamente, sperimentare e condividere con gli altri. Conosco personalmente bravissimi insegnanti di oreficeria che amano profondamente quello che fanno e trasmettono la voglia di mettersi alla prova. Se cercate esempi di didattica innovativa siete nel posto giusto!
SOA is a cutting-edge school where you learn by doing, in a pleasant and convivial environment. It would have pleased Steve Jobs for his renaissance workshop method, a laboratory where he could concretely practice, experiment and share with others. I personally know very good goldsmith teachers who deeply love what they do and transmit the desire to test themselves. If you are looking for examples of innovative teaching you are in the right place!

Le conoscenze acquisite durante i corsi ci hanno permesso di svolgere il lavoro che amiamo e che ci affascina ogni giorno. Ma la SOA non è solamente una scuola, è un luogo magico in cui si impara un mestiere insieme a persone molto disponibili e appassionate del loro lavoro.
By now the whole family has followed the courses of the Goldsmith School: my oldest daughter, myself and last of all my younger daughter! The knowledge acquired during the courses allowed us to do the work that we love and that fascinates us every day. But SOA is not just a school, it is a magical place where you learn a trade together with people who are very helpful and passionate about their work.

The teaching is not only of the highest standard but also very hearty. You will feel welcome and comfortable from the very first minute. Very well equipped the school has a great atmosphere and teachers. They are very present to teach and support you all the time but will leave you enough space to do the work by yourself and to learn maximum of skills. Co-Founder Luca Solari is a very kind and charming man and so is the whole atmosphere & way of teaching at the school. A pleasure being able to study like this - Highly recommend!
