 Historical workshop, interesting to know the history of the Scarpelli family, father and sons artists like those who had a workshop and apprentices in the Renaissance period. In the shop you can admire unforgettable creations, to leave us a piece of heart!

Catia was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, but never pushed a sale on us. Between us, we ended up picking up three mosaics. Catia took care of all shipping logistics and they arrived safe and sound at our houses about four weeks later. We can't wait to visit again and pick out another piece!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went into this really cozy and charming atelier by chance while walking through Florence. In the first moment we didn't even know what we were looking at. Without being obtrusive in any way, the owners (which is the Scarpelli family, so it's family-owned) took a lot of time for us and guided us through the gallery which is the workspace at the same time! We learned about the procedures, techniques, effort and the history behind these incredible mosaic-"paintings". Thank you again so much for this amazing experience and the chance to get such detailed explanations in an interesting and funny way. It was definitely one of the best parts throughout our time in Florence.
So, when you are in Florence, don't miss out the chance to meet the Scarpelli family and their unique masterpieces of this spectacular handmade art!
