★ ★ ★ ★ ★ e theater and a cinema in the city center of Florence. from 2016 takes place the "50 giorni" of Cinema. a wonderful festival of cine-docu with several thematic weeks. from contemporary art to indian to transgender. the only negative thing are the seats. to close from row to row. quite uncomfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down my favorite cinema in Florence. I hope they'll always stay open because I can tell that a lot of care and effort go into maintaining this place. For example, they have lots of special events where you can watch old movies in their original language (with Italian subtitles if they're not in Italian). This year they had a Hitchcock special, which gave me the opportunity to watch a rare black comedy from Hitchcock (The Trouble with Harry). Here are just a few of the movies I've seen in this cinema.
