★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Io non posso giudicare né la sala , né la programmazione, ma solo l'arroganza e l'ignoranza del personale che discriminandomi non mi ha permesso di accedere alla sala poichè non potevano scannerizzare la mia esenzione da vaccino che è cartacea, ecco un'altro esempio della lobotomia della mente umana , una società di automi digitali . Come giustificazione adducevano delle disposizioni basate su un decreto che evidentemente non hanno mai letto , visto che in tutti i decreti è chiaramente scritto che le esenzioni da vaccino sono equiparate al green pass rafforzato,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La definizione cinema è senz'altro un po' riduttiva: lo Stensen è infatti un vero e proprio polo culturale dove le presentazioni delle anteprime sono spesso accompagnate dalla presenza dei cineasti; regista e attori, i quali a seguito della proiezione, si aprono ad un piacevole dibattito-intervista con il pubblico in sala. L'androne d'ingresso comunica inoltre con una graziosa libreria dove - a volte - si tengono mostre, presentazioni e letture a tema; a cavallo tra i due spazi vi è un bar ben attrezzato anche per una eventuale apericena in attesa dell'evento serale. Anche lo Stensen aderisce al circuito “Firenze al Cinema”, iniziativa per soci con tessera che permette sconti sul normale prezzo del biglietto o l'ingresso gratuito, con prenotazione on-line, ad eventi selezionati. L'appellativo “Fondazione Culturale” anziché semplicemente cinema, appare quindi più che giustificato e coerente con lo spirito organizzativo di questo luogo, ricco appunto di contaminazioni culturali. Fortemente consigliato, soprattutto agli amanti dei film di nicchia, fuori dal solito circuito commerciale.
Unica pecca che penalizza il confort della sala, la mancanza di aria condizionata...
The definition of cinema is certainly a bit reductive: the Stensen is in fact a real cultural center where the presentations of the previews are often accompanied by the presence of filmmakers; director and actors, who, following the screening, open up to a pleasant debate-interview with the audience. The entrance hall also communicates with a lovely library where - at times - exhibitions, presentations and themed readings are held; between the two spaces there is a well-equipped bar also for a possible aperitif while waiting for the evening event. Stensen also adheres to the “Firenze al Cinema” circuit, an initiative for members with a card that allows discounts on the normal ticket price or free admission, with on-line booking, to selected events. The name "Cultural Foundation" rather than simply cinema, therefore appears more than justified and consistent with the organizational spirit of this place, rich in cultural contaminations. Strongly recommended, especially for lovers of niche films, outside the usual commercial circuit.
The only flaw that penalizes the comfort of the room, the lack of air conditioning ...

Propone sempre film fuori dalla grande distribuzione ma sempre molto interessanti. Trasmettono anche documentari e reportage.
Hanno anche una libreria annessa.
