★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Raggiungibile percorrendo la vecchia via pedonale che sale dal centro di Vernazza oppure in auto dalla più moderna stradina carrabile, l'area adiacente al santuario offre ombra fresca grazie ai maestosi alberi che qui vivono, tra i quali un monumentale cipresso. Il santuario è costruito con blocchi di pietra grigia con linee molto semplici mentre l'interno è riccamente decorato. È presente in loco un punto di ristoro.
Accessible along the old pedestrian street that rises from the center of Vernazza or by car from the most modern driveway, the area adjacent to the sanctuary offers cool shade thanks to the majestic trees that live here, including a monumental cypress. The sanctuary is built with blocks of gray stone with very simple lines while the interior is richly decorated. There is a refreshment point on site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Уютное место с прекрасными видами. Фонтан с вкуснейшей водой. Мимо проходят две разветвляющиеся тропы Чинкве-Терре - из Вернаццы в Сан Бернандино (она проходит через виноградники и тенистые овраги горного ручья) с шикарными видами, как везде здесь, и части одной из самых длинных и высоких троп Чиголетта - Термине. У старинного храма, основанного еще до времен Крестовых походов, есть много мест, где можно отдохнуть и перекусить. Подъем от Вернаццы средней сложности - дорога ровная и широкая, но вверх. Далее сильных перепадов нет. Занимает до Сан Бернандино около двух часов.
Сам храм, к сожалению, в запустении...
Cozy place with great views. A fountain with delicious water. Two branching trails of the Cinque Terre pass by - from Vernazza to San Bernandino (it passes through vineyards and shady ravines of a mountain stream) with gorgeous views, as elsewhere here, and part of one of the longest and highest trails of Cigoletta - Terminé. The ancient temple, which dates back to the days of the Crusades, has many places to rest and eat. The ascent from Vernazza is of medium difficulty - the road is flat and wide, but upward. Further, there are no strong drops. Takes about two hours to San Bernandino.
The temple itself, unfortunately, is in desolation ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous hike, extremely easy to arrive from Vernazza. The path is well kept and easy to walk, even for children. It took about 40 minutes to get up and 20 to get down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My goal was to see the oldest cipresso of Liguria. Found it.couldnt get into the church so i decided to walk to one fo the cinque Terre towns for coffee..it was a very steep walk back.
