β β β β β Probably my favourite place in Vernazza!
Itβs quite out of the way from the marina and piazza, but thatβs good as it keeps it a secret almost!
Itβs so quiet, and you really feel like youβre at a local, family run place.
The service was so friendly from the moment we rocked up and looked over the menu.
The food was incredible - the pasta delicious and the seafood fresh.
And as youβll read in plenty of other reviews, the cannoli are probably the best in the Cinque Terre. Go traditional and get the pistachio one. You wonβt be disappointed.

β β β β β This was our third time at the great "Il Pirata". The best cannoli this side of Palermo,. A cant miss stop if you're in Vernazza. We stopped by for an afternoon dessert, and it did not disappoint. My wife and I are not big fans of the village of Vernazza. Yes it's pretty, but it's elbow to elbow crowded in the afternoon, and party central in the evening. Il Pirata is the only reason we'd visit the village. Seen it, done it, did it.

β β β β β Great service and food!
Host is a really friendly guy and speaks multiple languages. We had dinner here the first night which was great and he convinced us to come back for breakfast. Weβre glad we did, we had breakfast multiple days here, and it was some of the best pastries weβve ever had. When the guy recommends something I would listen!

β β β β β We came here on the recommendation of some friends we met while here on holiday. It was excellent! We had a salmon pasta, the pesto dish, and some grilled salmon. It was all fantastic. The pesto was fresh and flavorful. The salmon was excellently prepared and tasted far better than I expected with it coming out of Italy instead of the Pacific Northwest. I would come here again and again if I was here longer.
I had to edit the review to take note of dessert. The panna cotta and cannoli were out of this world!

β β β β β We had a delicious breakfast here! The pastries were flaky and delicious and the cappuccino was so so tasty. The owner is very talkative and helpful! He described everything in the pastry case for us. We came back the next morning right before we hit the train!

β β β β β It is worth your while to venture here any time they are open (currently closed on Fridays). The Sicilian brothers who own this (Mossimo and Luca) are true master hosts and chefs. The food is exquisite and reasonably priced. Get reservations if you want to secure a time for dinner.

β β β β β This place is amazing! We as tourists from South Korea really enjoyed the breakfast while exploring the village. The chef (owner of the restaurant) gave us really nice recommendations of the menu. Please try to go to this place if you are in town

β β β β β AMAZING FRESH PASTA!
When getting off the train station at Vernazza, we found ourselves hungry!
By the water, there are a lot of sea food options.
For us being vegetarians, we walked about 5 minutes more into the town and stumbled upon this restaurant.
The staff was welcoming, the pasta was fresh, their ricotta based dessert was PHENOMENAL!
Would highly recommend stopping here to grab a quick bite or lunch while on your adventure in Cinque Terre
