★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Madonna del Carmine, festeggiata il 16 luglio, viene venerata in tutta Bagnara e dintorni, con preghiere, canti dialettali voti, doni, monetine. La processione si snoda per tutto il paese con la tradizionale "fujuta " all'uscita del Santuario e all'arrivo nelle chiese di Bagnara, davvero spettacolare e caratteristico. Durante la festa e la novena le campane vengono suonate a mano, nonostante ci siano i martelli elettrici, e producono una melodia favolosa e solenne. Lo spettacolo pirotecnico è meraviglioso, per i Bagnaresi il 16 luglio è davvero importante perché è la festa della "Rigina d'u Munti Carmelu". Da non dimenticare è giorno 15 luglio (la "jornata") dove la Chiesa è aperta tutto il giorno e viene cantato il Rosario dialettale e tanti altri canti della Madonna. Da andare a vedere!
The Madonna del Carmine, celebrated on July 16, is venerated throughout Bagnara and its surroundings, with prayers, dialectal chants, gifts, coins. The procession winds through the whole country with the traditional "fujuta" at the exit of the Sanctuary and upon arrival in the churches of Bagnara, truly spectacular and characteristic. During the festival and novena bells are rung by hand, although there are electric hammers, and produce a fabulous and solemn melody. The pyrotechnic show is wonderful, for the Bagnaresi July 16th is really important because it is the "Rigina d'u Munti Carmelu" festival. Not to be forgotten is July 15 (the "jornata") where the Church is open all day and the dialectal Rosary and many other songs of the Madonna are sung. To go and see!

Baroque style sanctuary, which resisted the earthquake of 1908, preserves a valuable icon of the Madonna del Carmine called "La Bruna" from the 14th century. It also houses a beautiful and miraculous image of Maria SS. del Monte Carmelo in 1856, and crowned by the Rev.mo Vatican Chapter on July 16, 1891.The feast occurs on July 16 of each year.
