Sono stato qui con la famiglia per un pranzo all'aperto.. La chiesetta è molto bella e ben curata sia internamente che esternamente. Consiglio senza dubbio la visita.

I was here with the family for an outdoor lunch .. The church is very beautiful and well cared for both internally and externally. I would definitely recommend the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella chiesetta dedicata alla Madonna del Carmine, in località Monte poro di Caroniti comune Joppolo. Costruita inizialmente da un Monaco fra Carmelo Falduto, su un insediamento religioso preesistente, divenne anche sede conventuale di monaci questuanti, molto presenti nel comprensorio, con diversi ordini data la fertilità e l'abbondanza di prodotti agricoli nella zona. Lo stesso frate iniziò la costruzione della fontana che si trova di fronte al santuario. Ritornandoci dopo qualche anno (3-4) noto con piacere che il piazzale antistante è stato rinnovato con aiuole lapidi e camminamenti che abbelliscono e ingentiliscono il posto.
Beautiful little church dedicated to the Madonna del Carmine, in the locality of Monte Poro di Caroniti, common Joppolo. Initially built by a monk between Carmelo Falduto, on a pre-existing religious settlement, it also became the conventual seat of the begging monks, very present in the district, with different orders given the fertility and abundance of agricultural products in the area. The same friar began the construction of the fountain that is located in front of the sanctuary. Returning to it after a few years (3-4), I am pleased to note that the square in front has been renovated with flower beds and walkways that embellish and refine the place.
