★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite places in Rome. The traditional home of Paul when he was under house arrest. You pay 2 euros and you go 12 feet underground. Paul possibly wrote two epistles from there. On the second Sunday og each month, Sister Margaret with the Pauline Order is there to explain the place.

Lines and prices to see a crypt in Rome are often long. This was only 2 euro to enter so I recommend you come see it. Church is free to enter obviously and is also very beautiful.
The crypt is not massive and there is not a lot to find, but you still see hints of the past here. As an English speaker you may need to take pictures of the signs and translate later or bring a friend who can read Italian. They give you an English pamphlet but there is no English during the small walk.
