Ora è sede di diaconia ed è la chiesa degli italiani nel mondo
Church dating back to the 10th century (the popes Agapito II and Giovanni XII speak of it) originally dedicated to Saints Eleuterio and Genesio (the latter's remains are shared with the church of Santa Susanna), it was entrusted to the Confraternity of the Pietà towards the prisoners and completely rebuilt in the seventeenth century to be restored in the nineteenth century. It is now the seat of the diaconate and is the church of the Italians in the world

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quaint chapel, at least by Roman standards. It is a lovely and quiet place to pray and spend some time away from the busy & bustle of the streets. It has heating as well so it’s nice and warm during the colder months.
