 I can recommend it with a clear conscience. Nice, honest and helpful service. Visiting the Amalfi Coast on a scooter is an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend!

Je moet 300euro borg betalen, maar dat was in Salerno overal.
Good service! Nice scooter. We were kindly helped by two women. Well and quickly arranged.
You have to pay a 300euro deposit, but that was everywhere in Salerno.

They had decided not to take our confirmation seriously, whereas we had carefully planned our trip, as we had been told that without scooter you can't do anything on the Amalfi coast. They had no scooter for us when we arrived in Salerno. What is a good price worth when the service is actually not available ? Zero.

β β β β β We arrived spontaneously without having booked anything in advance, but still got a great scooter right away! The staff was really friendly and patient with us, despite us having some problems at the gas station and keeping them waiting for quite some time ... 100% can recommend!

β β β β β My advice to everyone coming to Campania from other Italian regions or other countries is to try and avoid renting a car in this region (it's better to take a scooter) or to try and shop for the car rental company that offers the best insurance with the greatest coverage for theft and damage. Please note in fact that, in Campania, you NEVER get full insurance packages. With Salerno Noleggiami the maximum amount you pay in case of damage is EUR 2,000 (kasko). I checked with other car rental companies in Salerno that offered higher insurance coverage - Salerno Noleggiami is a small company and they try to cover their back as much as possible for anything happening to the cars they themselves rent - but decided to go with Salerno Noleggiami in the end because the shop is open also on Sunday and they had cheaper cars available. Unfortunately, during my trip I got a superficial scratch that can be seen in the attached picture. The company promised to share an overview of the costs they would face to fix this problem in a couple days. They came back four days later with a whatsapp message communicating that they would take EUR 500 from my credit card:
- No proof of what real costs they incurred was provided despite my request.
- The EUR 500 amount looks completely disproportionate to the actual damage.
- Every explanation I requested with regard to how we got to this amount was provided "as an act of courtesy". In other words, the company does not feel it is its duty to give further detail about the money they take from your credit card.
- I overall felt that the staff of Salerno Noleggiami was not transparent about the costs incurred to fix the scratch and this despite the fact that I am from the area so I can only imagine how they would deal with foreigners.
