★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “Do you know what is the most beautiful thing in the world? Freshly made gelato” — Alessandro, owner of Sablé gelateria. He sources the fruit himself including the picking berries on his farm, he makes the hazelnut spread in shop, he is a trained pastry chef, he is a chocolatier, and he is quite sexy, which is in no way important... his most popular flavor is “hay” is always sold out. His small shop is on the corner and hidden behind a red newsstand. He is a philosopher intellectual and photographer... and a young hunk. But, really, go for the gelato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped by for a quick gelato fix and left very satisfied. The guy behind the counter guided me to his favourites and I was really pleased with those flavours. For me this was the best place I had gelato in Bologna, and there are quite a few good places here. So it's highly recommended.

Definitely can't miss this Gelato when you come to Bologna

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I waited three days for Sablè to reopen after Easter holidays and so happy I had a chance to try their incredible gelato. The owner handcraft creative flavors using all natural ingredients, which makes it super special. One of my favorite places for gelato in Bologna. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sablè is a mix between traditional and contemporary ice-cream making using only top local ingredients, everything made with a lot of love and passion. Here you're gonna find not only ice-cream (i tried chestnut honeycomb and it blew me away) but home made biscuits, spreadable creams (try kiss rock, it's amazing) and others everything made in house with top ingredients. Definitely you wanna stop by when you visit Bologna !!!
