Tra le voci del coro ce ne sono alcune bellissime, in particolare un soprano, bravi e professionali i musicisti.

Nell'aprile del 1177 Mauro, figlio di Giovanni, vende alla badia di Cava una terra con casa "in loco Felline super ecclesiam sancte Crucis".
DescrizioneLa chiesa di Santa Croce sorge in zona Torrione in Via Vincenzo Padula n.1. Presenta pianta rettangolare con due cappelle laterali ai lati dell'abside. La struttura principale è in cement armato e presenta copertura in capriate lignee a vista. L'aula è pavimentata con mattonele quadrate in granigliato di marmo rosa e ocra. L'abside presenta pavimentazione in marmo. La facciata principale si presenta intonacata in grigio e bianco con partizioni orizzontali sulle porzioni laterali, mentre sulla porzione centrale, oltre al portale d'ingresso in legno massiccio, presenta un'apertura vetrata ripartita con una croce.

Description The church of Santa Croce is located in the Torrione area in Via Vincenzo Padula n.1. It has a rectangular plan with two side chapels on the sides of the apse. The main structure is in reinforced concrete and has an exposed wooden truss roof. The classroom is paved with square bricks in pink and ocher marble grit. The apse has marble flooring. The main façade is plastered in gray and white with horizontal partitions on the side portions, while on the central portion, in addition to the solid wood entrance portal, it has a glazed opening divided with a cross.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'antica chiesa di Santa Croce sorta nel XII secolo, come scrive Crisci “era in stile bizantino a croce greca con quattro colonne, di notevole pregio architettonico” ed ebbe il duplice nome di parrocchia di Santa Croce e San Felice fino al 1811.
Il 21 giugno 1943 la chiesa fu completamente distrutta dalle bombe degli alleati.
Ricostruita con pianta rettangolare e due cappelle ai lati dell'abside, fu inaugurata l'8 dicembre del 1950.
The ancient church of Santa Croce built in the twelfth century, as Crisci writes "was in Byzantine style with a Greek cross with four columns, of considerable architectural value" and had the double name of the parish of Santa Croce and San Felice until 1811.
On June 21, 1943 the church was completely destroyed by allied bombs.
Rebuilt with a rectangular plan and two chapels on either side of the apse, it was inaugurated on 8 December 1950.
