Ospita il convento dei cappuccini ed è frequentata da più gruppi religiosi laici di ogni età. L'oratorio annesso al complesso svolge molte attività ludiche e sportive. Peccato che durante la crescita dall'infanzia all'età adolescenziale dei miei figli non era fruibile per lavori di recuperi edili e messa in sicurezza. Very important Catholic complex for the city of Salerno as it receives a large and large number of users from one of the most populous neighborhoods in the city. Mi dispiace che hanno cambiato tutta la comunità perché i frati precedenti conoscevano tutti i fedeli e con essi era più facile confessarsi e comunicare. Very welcoming church and good friars. I am sorry that they changed the whole community because the previous friars knew all the faithful and it was easier to confess and communicate with them.

DescrizioneLa facciata principale si articola in due ordini separati da un cornicione modanato con timpano di chiusura. Al primo ordine quattro lesene scandiscono la facciata in tre parti uguali, ciascuna avente al centro un portone d'ingresso. Il portone centrale presenta una lunetta con effige sacra rappresentata su piastrelle maiolicate. Al secondo ordine si ripetono le lesene che individuano nuovamente tre spazi caratterizzati rispettivamente da due nicchie quelli laterali, mentre quello centrale da un'ampia bucatura con arco a tutto sesto e vetri policromi. La pianta è rettangolare, ad una sola navata. L'aula liturgica ed il presbiterio sono coperti da una volta a botte arricchita da fregi e stucchi nonché da cromie nei toni del giallo ocra. Un cornicione a modanature aggettanti corre lungo il perimetro interrompendosi nel presbiterio sulla nicchia sita al centro della parete di fondo. Sulle pareti laterali si rilevano nicchie definite da ampi archi a tutto sesto intervallati da lesene. 1904 (general construction) The church was built in 1904. Description The main facade is divided into two orders separated by a molded cornice with a closing tympanum. On the first order, four pilasters mark the façade into three equal parts, each with an entrance door in the center. The central door has a lunette with a sacred effigy represented on majolica tiles. On the second order the pilasters are repeated which again identify three spaces characterized respectively by two niches, the lateral ones, while the central one by a large opening with a round arch and polychrome glass. The plant is rectangular, with a single nave. The liturgical hall and the presbytery are covered by a barrel vault enriched by friezes and stuccoes as well as by colors in shades of ocher yellow. A cornice with protruding moldings runs along the perimeter, interrupting in the presbytery on the niche located in the center of the back wall. On the side walls there are niches defined by large round arches interspersed with pilasters.
F	Francesco Malinconico on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa non ha navate, ma entrando sulla destra ha la sagrestia, una deliziosa cappella con i confessionali ed un vano adibito perlopiù ad ufficio parrocchiale. L'ambiente della chiesa, dove sull'altare è collocata la statua della Madonna, è serenamente mistico ed induce alla preghiera. Personalmente ho trovato un padre spirituale, non più giovane, ma che nella confessione si è rivelato come un sacerdote eccezionale (da conoscere)che è riuscito in pieno a darmi pace e serenità e risposte molto esaurienti alle mie carenze spirituali The church has no naves, but on entering on the right it has the sacristy, a delightful chapel with confessionals and a room mostly used as a parish office. The environment of the church, where the statue of the Madonna is placed on the altar, is serenely mystical and leads to prayer. Personally I found a spiritual father, no longer young, but who in confession revealed himself as an exceptional priest (to be known) who was able in full to give me peace and serenity and very comprehensive answers to my spiritual deficiencies.

Moderatamente ampia e ariosa. Unica pecca e che nei paraggi non vedo parcheggi auto. Almeno io che ci sono andato sempre a piedi. Francescani che sanno veramente fare la parola di Dio. 3 stars that mean more good than bad, right? Beautiful church according to the classic Baroque which is usually dedicated to the Immaculate Virgin. A nave. Moderately large and airy. The only flaw is that I don't see any car parks nearby. At least I, who have always walked there. Franciscans who truly know how to speak the word of God.
