We’ve eaten here repeatedly during our lengthy visit to Rome. The biggest draw: wonderful Elion, our waiter (except on Wednesdays). We’ve been consistently happy with menu options, including variety of antipasti, pasta, seconds (especially saltimbocca and sea bass dishes), and we’ve always appreciated Elion’s suggestions from the wine list.

Food is excellent and service is tops. Had the sliced sirloin with mushrooms and ate every bite. Steak was tender and juicy and mushrooms were picked day of. My wife had spaghetti with clams. Avoid the pushy salesmen and head straight beer company. Btw. Let the waiter choose your beer. Super experience. Outdoors so avoid smokers.

Awesome lunch. We really recommend it. The best spaghetti carbonara I have even eaten

Just had some drinks but was a good enough restaurant. I SMASHED my head coming back from the restroom as the ceiling hangs over the stairway. Surprised I didn’t cut but was a little painful for a few days.

Food was delicious, mussels were very fresh and a big portion. Pizza was great and the chocolate fondant just melted in your mouth. Staff were very friendly and polite.

Tourist trap. Mediocre food that is way overpriced. We waited 45 minutes for bruschetta and cold meat platter. Numerous people came and left while we were waiting as they had no service. The cherry atop the cake was being asked if we’d like to add a tip at the end. There are some fantastic restaurants in Rome with very modest prices. Look for the restaurants down the side alleys rather than around the piazzas and squares.

(It’s called Osteria Terrina on the menu, but they say it’s Roma Beer Company) Either way, it barely deserves 3 stars (but the service was decent). In the end, I didn’t have a bad experience, but I also didn’t have a good one either. Obviously it’s in a popular square, but the food was just not very good. The tomato sauce was bland—and even the ravioli themselves had no flavor at all. The appetizers were way overpriced for how tiny they were, and not nearly as tasty as I’d had in a small pizza joint around the corner. Walk a bit further if you’re hungry and skip this place.
