Highly recommend ordering what they highlight/suggest you
Carbonara is quite good. It's not the best, you can definitely find way better, but it tasted nice and I was satisfied
The pasta was less al dente than Rome's standard (it was fully cooked imo)
Other than that, very nice
Also the people were very nice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service and poor food. We ordered grilled fish and it was clearly grilled on a bbq with old oil and was terribly dry. After giving feedback the waiter reacted super unfriendly and didn’t react at all.

We didn't felt welcome. Unlike other customers we never got asked if we wanted something more.
Food was ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible Roman cuisine. The owner's no-nonsense attitude towards complaining tourists is very fun to watch. He's a great guy if you chat with him, though! The cacio e pepe was very simple and delicious, as was the tomato spaghetti with the peas. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting an authentic experience that's not going out of its way to cater to tourists.
