Bad experience if you don't pay attention to every items you get you will end up paying much more because the cashier will show a different price on your bill from the one you saw in the aisle. Generally if you notice the mistake and tell them they put the correct price....... This has happened to me in different Carrefour here in Roma but to night has been my last visit to this shop because the lady teller didn't even control the price and of course I didn't buy the fruit I liked
with the wrong price. I'm sure tourist on vacation will be less picky than me... Italian and local... But I'm sure they won't like to pay double theproducts they chose. So if I can suggest whatch closely your Carrefour bill and about this particular shop they can actually be very rude and lazy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful of this place. As tourist we were unaware of this scam they run...The person on the register charged our card for the grocery we bought but replaced our card with another blocked card and kept out card to himself.
Later he used our card for Mc Donald's and bookstores and later other places for charging more then$500...we kept thinking why the card which was with us was denied and thought of taking care we reach our country back...
Such a holy place like Rome and people are doing such cheap things.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small ok little supermarket/minimart right off the piazza. It’s very handy if you’re staying in the area as we were in a little apartment. The place has a good range of stuff and the deli area is terrific. The staff are a bit up and down though. The young woman on the register late at night is sadly one of the sourest, least customer oriented people you could ever meet. Beyond that, the place meets most needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK supermarket but European debit cards don't work here so they want you to pay cash. Don't trust the chubby guy with the black beard because he will not give you back the proper amount of change. Also the shop was closed at 20:00 one day for some reason. Not all the staff seems to speak English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEAUTIFUL OLD ROOMS. Nice supermarket with everything you need. Open 7 - 24. Right at Campo dei Fiori. Buy vegetables elsewhere, here they are on the fridge.
