β β β β β We had lunch at la Carbonara and it was beyond my expectations. Vegetarian meals are available, like the pasta caccio pepe and fried artichokes. Delicious wine.

β β β β β Always wanted to visit and done this this time in Rome. Food is very good and the pastas are great but not much above Romeβs average. Prices a little bit higher than in most places but itβs worth the value.

β β β β β I had a great meal here the 1st night in country. Mimo provided excellent service, and pick a bottle of wine I enjoyed very much. The caprese salad had wonderful bufula cheese, and perfectly ripe tomatoes. The carbonara primi, and pulpo secondi followed suit. Both were wonderful. Iβm glad I took a Romanβs recommendation to eat here.

Definitively a great choice not only of the location and the service, but mostly for the food!
Take carbonara of course, but try the rest of amazing pasta they have in the menu.
I had truffle pasta⦠amazing!

The appetizers: meatballs and the artichoke was amazing.
The main courses: The best carbonara and cacio e pepe we have had. We are already dreaming of the day we go back and eat it again.
The desert: You need to try the tiramisu.
The wine: Go for the Scappa Nebbiolo, one of the most budget friendly bottle of wine and delicious. Even my boyfriend who is a beer drinker said he really enjoyed it with our meals β€οΈ
End with a grappa. Recommended by our lovely waitress. Professional and caring staff β€οΈ
It will get crowded after 8, so if you want make a reservation the day before. The staff is lovely and the ambiance is worth it ?
