★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here can be eaten if no other options are available. That’s the best I can say.
The food here is within the range of bland to boring, not prepared or presented with any care. You get cold water in plastic bottles which adds to the “this is fast food for tourists” vibe. This restaurant has the typical tourist trap menu. They offer mostly what foreigners may recognize from Italian restaurants catering to the pallets outside of Italy.
You can eat here, it might be ok at best. You will not be wowed, you will not recommend this restaurant to your friends, and it is unlikely that you will come back to eat here again.
The service was not outlandishly friendly but got the job done. Food came to the table a little too fast and not in a way that allows a party of four to start eating together.
My recommendation to the owners:
You have a nice hotel. You can do better with the kitchen here and with the seating that you have available. A few light changes and additions to your menu, and especially more flavor can easily raise your profile. The food that you currently offer is mediocre at best, lacks any innovation or attention to detail, and is simply not exciting. Make the change, get a good chef, transform your menu, add flavor, and guests will start recommending you again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Underwhelmed at best. I order the carbonara. It was a sickly yellow, see photo. I’ve never seen carbonara this color in Italy or elsewhere. You could barely taste the parmigiana and the pancetta was pieces of ham. It’s like they have no idea what the dish it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al fresco dining set up is attractive, but for the price they charge, the food I had was very ordinary. For the same price, you can eat very well near the Realto fish market with better service (I guess because they have easy access to fresh ingredients). The payment system was too complicated, we were made to go to the hotel check in counter to pay the bill but it took ages as there weren’t enough staff to take payments and we had to wait for a long time as there was a queue of hotel customers checking in. Didn’t enjoy the experience.

Would not recomend eating here, there are way better places

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually i never go to Restaurants which are not rated by at least 4 stars. in this case i made an exception due to rainy conditions outside. Now i absolutely agree with this low score. Now i absolutely underdtand why this place is rated so worse. Just look at my pizza as well as the unfriendly staff on top. If there is no storm outside, please do not come here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food quality wasn't great and slow service. Luckily the prices aren't very high but I was still swindled at the checkout. First, they quoted a much higher price than what I had to pay and I had to correct them on what we actually ordered. Then we finally got the order right but I miscalculated €1 too much (I had to do the math for them...) and they happily took it despite knowing it was a mistake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw all this confusing reviews after my first night in the hotel and I don’t understand why such bad comments. The room was really clean, toilets too. Dinner we had was great, pizza was nice with a lot of vegetables. As a guest of a hotel, you even have special discount for lunch and dinner. 4 stars only because serving and having breakfast wasn’t the most pleasant experience, but I gess covid measurments are making everything more complicated.
