★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for our 1st year anniversary and we weren't disappointed. Amazing food and service. They were so attentive and friendly. The head waitor speaks 6 different languages. We ate scallops, spaghetti alle vongole, ravioli in truffle cream sauce, grilled whole lobster, steak with green pepper sauce, cremé catalan & chocolate pot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid. Overpriced tourist trap. Careless cooking. Risotto for two was way to al dente and quickly turned gluey. The cream of mushroom soup was thin and tasteless. Everything needed salt. Wait staff was pleasant and the location was great. The food was just a big disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A respite from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Yes you are dining with tourist mainly but the food is excellent and kid friendly. Clams and mussels in white wine sauce, fresh catch of the day and lobster pasta highly recommended. Don’t forget to finish off with the classic Tiramisu - homemade of course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and service was very good. It is quite nice to sit outside alongside the water channel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was fresh and tasty. The wait staff was very friendly and put up with my embarrassing attempt to learn/practice Italian. We only ate here once, despite staying at the Hotel American (which we didn't pick for the name, but had an amazing staff/service).
It was clean, and had a beautiful calming view on the canal.
Listen, you're going to Venice, you're going for the experience. I may have had better meals on this trip, but I didn't feel like I was being ripped off, and I enjoyed my experience.
You go to Venice for the experience. This place is close enough to Academica that it's not out of the way, but other than people going to Santa Maria, there isn't much foot traffic in the area. It's peaceful and beautiful. Feels like you're eating in a residential neighbourhood (unlikely). An artist ran her shop across the canal when I went, it just felt quaint. Loved it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their dinner food is good, but the hot chocolate taste like pure milk, the cappuccino isn’t good either and the dessert lack taste - the one pictured tasted like flour with caramel sauce on top

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem in Venice. Unfortunately we only discovered it our last night- we would have eaten here every night. Great grilled prawns and chocolate soufflé. Highly recommended.
