★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piazza Duomo in Castelmola dives you in italian lifestyle at its fullest. Got our aperitivo with a breathtaking view on the vulcano Etna before having dinner while watching the Euros 2021. Responsible for this great time and awesome dishes was a very kind and funny restaurant owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come for the incredible views, stay for this restaurant! Very good restaurant in the centre square of town, steps away from a panoramic view of Etna. Despite this touristy location, the food is anything but. Really good. Had the duo of eggplant parmigiana and caponata to start (the caponata was especially good) and then the special pasta of the day - paperdelle with rouget, capers and tomatoes - and a pasta off the menu, forget the name but basically an almond pesto. Finished with a pistachio torte, which was more like a semi freddo. House white wine by the glass was excellent. Wait staff was funny, engaging and fast - especially Charlie who joked with us all evening. A great experience, esp if you have a car to get up to the top of this mountain!
