★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had pizza Ligure, Menta and the freddo pesca. All for €13.50. pizza was better than a reheated one, but rather greasy and salty. The two beverages tasted very artificially flavored. One thing that I have never experienced before was that the pizza was served whole - unsliced. I had to ask the staff to slice it. The service was extremely slow, but the view was excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once you managed to climb the steep mountain road or the way through the cactus fields, this Cafe is the perfect place to rest and relax from the hike. The view is amazing and it is located beautifully on the main square of the city's entrance next to the main gate. You can see the Castello as well as the sea down towards Taormina. Be sure to taste the Granita in different flavors as they serve the best Granita we had during our entire trip (made with natural ingredients as far as we tasted)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner is really sweet and helpful. It’s not easy to find a place to have early breakfast but they opened at 8am. We had our breakfast with beautiful view.
It’s a great place to take a break, meet friends and relax.
But to be honest, the food is just ok not great. Price is very reasonable, so I will still go there regularly. If they improve their food, it can be a perfect spot from morning till midnight.
Owner is humble. At least when you suggest something, she’s listening and willing to discuss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place .... All the granitas were delicious, especially the almond one: excellent! The staff was kind enough to offer us four small glasses to taste the typical Castemola almond wine. And last but not least, a superb coffee accompanied by an exquisite almond paste
