★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castelmola ist definitiv einen Besuch wert, auch wenn die Auffahrt von Taormina auf Grund der teilweise sehr schmalen Strassen nicht ohne ist. Dafür ist das Dorf sehr sauber und man hat einen super Rundum-Blick (z.B. auf Taormina, Ätna, die Küste etc.)
Castelmola is definitely worth a visit, even if the driveway of Taormina is not without due to the sometimes very narrow streets. But the village is very clean and you have a great all-round view (for example on Taormina, Etna, the coast, etc.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Employée de Police qui ne nous a pas aidé. Ellenous a même enfoncé. Nous n'avions pas vu que nous ne pouvions pas nous garer en ville (trop absorbées par le joli paysage), et ne parlait pas Anglais, elle a été très désagréable ce qui nous a faites fuir.
Finalement, au lieu de nous expliquer, elle a préféré mettre une amende de 17€, qu'il nous a été impossible à payer après puisque c'était une voiture de location. (Même notre famille Italienne n'avait pu la payer!!! Pour recevoir 8 mois après des frais de 60€ par la société de location pour donner nos noms à la commune, et cette dernière qui facture 95€ de plus. Soit un total de 155€ pour une amende de 17€, et qui aurait pu nous éviter tout ça si l'employée avait été moins agressive et juste un peu aimable. C'est bien connu que les touristes ne comprennent rien. Du vol.
Police employee who did not help us. She even rammed us. We hadn't seen that we couldn't park in town (too absorbed by the pretty landscape), and didn't speak English, she was very unpleasant, which scared us away.
Finally, instead of explaining to us, she preferred to impose a fine of 17€, which we were unable to pay afterwards since it was a rental car. (Even our Italian family couldn't pay it!!! To receive 8 months later a fee of 60€ by the rental company to give our names to the municipality, and the latter which charges 95€ more. That is a total of 155€ for a fine of 17€, and who could have avoided all that if the employee had been less aggressive and just a little friendly.It is well known that tourists do not understand anything.Theft.
