★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We started calling them at 4:00pm and every time they answered they transferred the call to their fax machine. So we took a ride out and got there at 7:00 and as usual with most Italians they took no responsibility as they had no tables. This expensive restaurant only has one phone line. Go figure. Very upsetting as our last night in Italy. Don’t bother!

A nice view of Montecarlo and near villages. Excellent sea food. High quality service, great wines and a very pleasant environment.
I highly recommend for all in visit around Lucca in Toscana!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our first wedding anniversary in Italy. The restaurant made it really special for us. Great atmosphere and fantastic food. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak English. A great restaurant in a cool town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant deserves not a review, but an Ode. What a place, what a dinner. I've been here now multiple times with my family and each time we are completely submerged in the experience called forassiepi. Apart from each dish looking like a piece of art, the combinations of flavours is unparalleled. The wine selection is wonderful, the staff extremely kind and knowledgeable about the food. The master chef, Pietrantonio, even stopped by our table to greet us. Truly delightful and looking forward to the next time.

They took great detail with every bit of the food and wine, even so much as to be very aware of allergens and preferences. All the staff and chef were lovely and friendly. Very much can recommend going there for a spectacular experience
