Perched village that is worth visiting with a tour of the cellars and places to eat! Very well maintained and cared for, they often organize events.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno dei piccoli gioielli della provincia Toscana. Molto curato, anche nei particolari. Molti i ristoranti. Interessante il piccolo teatro costruito alla fine del XVIII secolo.
One of the small jewels of the Tuscany province. Very nice, even in the details. Many restaurants. The small theater built at the end of the 18th century is interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La festa del vino ha luogo ogni anno a inizio settembre a Montecarlo di Lucca. Si tratta di una bellissima manifestazione situata in uno scenario notevole, in quanto il borgo è meraviglioso. L'evento enogastronomico vale davvero una visita per gli amanti del buon bere e mangiare, la qualità sia dei cibi che dei vini è eccellente. Solitamente c'è molta folla, ma è comprensibile... chi va di solito vuole ritornarvi. Questa sera c'è stata una parata in stile medioevale con banda musicale, sbandieratori e sfilata in costumi d'epoca...molto suggestiva
The wine festival takes place every year in early September in Montecarlo di Lucca. It is a beautiful event located in a remarkable setting, as the village is wonderful. The food and wine event is really worth a visit for lovers of good food and drink, the quality of both food and wines is excellent. Usually there is a lot of crowds, but it is understandable ... those who go usually want to return. Tonight there was a medieval-style parade with a musical band, flag-wavers and a parade in period costumes ... very suggestive
