★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impossible to find a table in the city, rude staff and a huge queue outside the door. Book in advance or forget it. Closed almost all weekend and beginningof the week, plan your visit well in advance and book everything at least more than 2 weeks in advance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic restaurant - excellent service (they were particularly tolerant of us as English speakers, with our best attempts at Italian). Very reasonable prices - we had two dishes, a side dish, half litre of wine for 36 euro! The food was fantastic too. Definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the oldest trattorie in Modena. You can feel all the passion and work of Enzo. The food is good, pasta is homemade (it’s a plus for Emilians) but portions is small, considering it’s a Trattoria. Anyway recommended!

You will see the ladies to make fresh tortellini and preparing the gnocco fritto. Highly recommended!
