★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy with character. Friendly staff with great service, albeit with a bit of a wait for the first course. One of only a few restaurants actually open on a Monday evening!!!
Staff were knowledgable about the food and had great recommendations. Their home made pasta was delicious!!
Tiramisu was the best we could find in Modena !! Try it, but do save some room for it!!
Staff spoke very good English!
Recommended if you can get a table!! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Saturday night in Modena, in the rain, when every other restaurant appeared to be booked out. We knocked at Osteria Romana and although they were not even open yet, they accommodated our large-ish group and the service was lovely. Food was excellent, the eggplant parmigiana probably the best the eggplant dish I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back if we’re ever in Modena again!

We visited during a Monday noon and sat outside.
Everything we ordered came pretty fast. And everything we ate was quite tasty.
Bit overpriced, but then again it's Modena.
