β β β β β Tourist UNFRIENDLY. The waiter just IGNORED us. We waited 1,5 HOUR for our food. The owner (an old man) was also rude. The food was good, but the service was the worse I had in Italy.

β β β β β The staff were very unfriendly, almost to a point they didn't want our custom! Yes I know we are Scottish and our Italian is poor but the staff were so rude it was almost funny. Plates almost thrown at us and no interaction or engagement with staff. Food tasted very good but the presentation was awful, something from the dark ages!
There are much better restaurants in Modena and I would steer clear of this one. Shame, sorry for the bad review but they were awful!

I dont understand what was special here. We visit Modena for one day and wanted to eat fish. Reviews were showing already not the best points but we wanted to eat fish and there was not any option anyways around. We enter from main door and owner says in italian broken English "Just Fish!!! No pizza!!!" It was a not the best welcome. We said yes fine and entered. Menu was actually REALLY expensive and of course our expectations were accordingly. First of all we get some starters and white wine, amount of food and the taste of food was just ok. Nothing special. Main dish was really poor and few pieces. Although it is written in menu as mixed fish fries, i received no fish at all only some poor pieces of inkfish and 4 pcs of small prawns. It was so poorly served. My wife ordered spagetti and she asked some parmesan cheese near it and man have decided to explain it is not good and wont fit near spagetti. I can not agree on it. We paid over 85 eur 3 main dish and a salat. Prices are just meaninglessly expensive. All known guests of owner were served and paid attetion as prio although we pay same money. Old man is extreme unfriendly but an other young guy is ok.
I can not recommend and i dont understand what is special here. It dont worth your money and time.
